This means that rather than having a single static light, Astera LED pixel tubes can be programmed to show multiple color patterns or displays that are constantly changing.
Another feature that makes Astera LED pixel tubes an ideal solution for video recording environments, unlike many other LED lighting fixtures Astera LED tubes utilize a random refresh rate that eliminates flicker and pulse interference issues that are common problems when using standard LED fixtures when recording video. Astera LED tubes are a versatile solution for lighting event spaces where video recording or press and media coverage is required, such as interview areas, red carpet areas and step and repeat areas. Also with the ability to program precise color temperature adjustments and a wide range of dynamic effects, Astera LED tubes are a versatile and cutting edge lighting solution for any event location where photography or video recording is required.
The versatility of Astera LED pixel tubes makes them the perfect solution for a wide range of event and trade show exhibit applications. They can be used to accent any area with bright vibrant colors or subtle calming ambiance. How were LED lights invented?
Light-emitting diode (LED) lighting has become increasingly common in a variety of household products, from lamps to TVs. But the technology that makes LED lighting possible is not so common knowledge. LED lighting was invented in the 1960s by an American scientist working for the radio industry.
The journey to LED lighting began in 1907, when the first LED was invented. The inventor was a Russian scientist named Oleg Losev, who was working on developing a new type of radio receiver. While experimenting with the receiver, he noticed a faint light coming from the device. He had discovered the first LED.
Losev's discovery was largely forgotten until the 1950s, when American engineer Nick Holonyak, Jr., working for General Electric, developed the first practical LED lighting device. Holonyak worked on a special type of semiconductor material known as gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP), which could emit red light.
Why are LED lights more efficient?
As the world is increasingly aware of the need to conserve energy, LED lights have become a popular choice due to their impressive efficiency and cost savings. LED lights (light-emitting diode) are small, solid lights that emit light from diodes when electric current passes through them. Because of their small size, LEDs use a fraction of the energy required by traditional light sources, like halogen and incandescent bulbs, and offer many advantages.
One of the biggest benefits of LED lighting is energy efficiency. LED lights consume very little energy compared to traditional bulbs and are able to produce the same amount of light. LEDs can produce up to 85 percent more light for the same energy as a traditional bulb. Not only are LED lights more energy-efficient, but they also last longer. A traditional bulb lasts around 1,000 hours, while an LED light can last up to 50,000 hours, or five times as long. This means that you don't have to replace LED lights as often as traditional bulbs, which helps reduce your ongoing costs.
LED lighting is also very versatile as it can be used both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of applications. LED lights produce almost no heat, making them a much safer option than traditional lights and allowing them to be used in areas with children or pets. The low intensity of these lights makes them suitable for use in a variety of settings, including bedrooms, living areas, offices and businesses.
